July 2013, I visited my sister. While I was staying with her she told me her husband was a porn addict and that she had known for 13 years. Her husband had been in recovery for about nine months. I told her that I caught my husband James looking at porn at work once 17 years ago but I had asked him twice since and he had never looked again.
My sister figuratively patted my head and said, "dear, dear don't be stupid."
About a week later I asked my husband, "when is the last time you looked at porn?" And "how frequently do you look?" He said, "a year ago and not very often." The truth was actually three weeks ago and about every other week.
